Learning at SSV

A CBSE curriculum delivered with purpose — where every subject connects to something real, and every student is seen.

Our Approach

At SSV, we structure learning around the “what,” “how,” and “why”of every subject. Students don't just absorb information — they apply it, question it, and connect it to the world they see around them.

This means hands-on projects alongside textbook work, classroom discussions that go deeper than the syllabus, and teachers who treat curiosity as something to cultivate, not manage. The goal is students who genuinely understand what they're learning — and remember it long after the exam is over.

CBSE Curriculum

Pre-Nursery through Grade X

SSV follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Our affiliation (No. 830902) since 2019 ensures that students receive a nationally recognized education that prepares them for competitive examinations and higher studies.

Subjects offered: English, Kannada, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science — delivered through a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on projects, and continuous assessment as prescribed by CBSE guidelines.

We go beyond the core syllabus with supplementary programmes: Neltas skill assessment exams, the Awakened Citizen Programme (value education for Classes 7–9), guest speaker sessions on moral values and life skills, and cultural education — connecting academic growth with personal development.

Signature Life-Skills Programmes

Beyond the CBSE syllabus, we designed two of our own programmes — in financial literacy and AI literacy — because these are the skills that will shape our children's lives most. Both are built in-house, India-rooted, hands-on, and taught with our values, at no extra cost to families.

Grades 1–9 · full-year, weekly

Financial Literacy Programme

Every grade gets its own full year of weekly classes — a fresh, harder course each year that builds on the last. We start in Grade 1 with simple, playful ideas and grow, grade by grade, to real budgeting, banking, and fraud-safety by Grade 9. Every example uses rupees, the kirana shop, and everyday Indian life, and is designed so no child is ever made to feel the size of their family's means.

  • Grades 1–3 · saving, sharing, needs vs wants & honest money habits, through play
  • Grades 4–6 · goals, smart spending, save-first, a first budget & money safety
  • Grades 7–9 · banking, UPI, interest & compounding, debt traps, GST, scams & entrepreneurship
Grades 3–10 · full-year, weekly

AI Literacy Programme

AI is reshaping the world our children will grow up in. We teach them to understand it, question it, and build with it — safely, on school devices, guided by their teacher, never handing a child an open chatbot. A full-year course for every grade, deepening each year. Its heart: AI should make you a sharper thinker, not do your thinking for you.

  • Grades 3–5 · computational thinking — patterns, logic & a gentle first look at AI, mostly unplugged
  • Grades 6–8 · how AI learns from data, bias, privacy & the AI project cycle, building with safe tools
  • Grades 9–10 · deeper building, ethics & a head-start on CBSE's AI subject (417)

Our Faculty

Our teachers are trained professionals who bring both subject expertise and genuine warmth to the classroom. With a student-teacher ratio of less than 10:1 and a maximum class size of 24, they know their students individually — their strengths, their struggles, and what motivates them.

Our teachers invest in their own growth too — through regular workshops and training — so that what happens in the classroom keeps getting better, year after year.

The SSV Way

Walk through our campus and you'll notice something: students greet visitors, hold doors, and look you in the eye. That isn't rehearsed — it comes from a culture where respect, curiosity, and personal responsibility are woven into everyday life.

We want our students to leave SSV not just with strong grades, but with the character and confidence to navigate whatever comes next — with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
